At Jaw Gear Dental Prosthetics in the Southern Highlands, we provide custom-fitted mouthguards designed for children and adults involved in contact and high-impact sports.
Each mouthguard is made using a mould taken from the patient’s own teeth and gums. This method allows for accurate material thickness, which helps reduce the risk of dental trauma and improves overall fit and comfort. Unlike over-the-counter or “boil-and-bite” options, our custom mouthguards stay securely in place—even during intense activity—making it easier to breathe and speak.
We use durable, high-quality EVA material in our mouthguards and offer a range of thickness options depending on the sport. Jaw Gear mouthguards can also be made to fit over braces when required. If your child plays rugby, AFL, hockey, or martial arts, or you participate in similar sports yourself, a custom mouthguard offers a safer and more reliable solution.
